This workshop will focus on bringing together small farmers and other ag supporting entities to explore a state funding source, the Sustainable Agricultural Lands Conservation (SALC) Program, introducing participants to a variety of funding opportunities, including planning grants, acquisitions and capacity grants. The workshop goals are:

1. Provide basic information on SALC and other California Climate Investment (CCI) funding opportunities

2. Identify broader barriers and opportunities to increasing agricultural land conservation, with emphasis on the Central Valley and Southern California regions;

3. Allow participants to collaborate in network in order to prepare for any people future proposals.

We hope to see you there!
