Farms Together is a subdivision of the Local Food Procurement Assistance Program (LFPA). LFPA is a reimagined version of the Farm to Families Food Box program with the goal to provide culturally appropriate food to underserved communities throughout the state. Local food will be purchased at market price and delivered to food banks and other distribution sites. As a way of further supporting communities, all the food will be sourced from mainly small, local & socially disenfranchised farmers in order to support local food production. The goal of this panel is to introduce the Farms Together Program and foster participation
