Welcome to the 35th annual California Small Farm Conference, a week of learning, inspiration and movement-building. Our hybrid conference features over 50 online workshops, videos, and interactive forums, as well as in-person gatherings around the state. Admission is on a sliding scale. Please pay what you can to help make this event possible and accessible to everyone. All events are virtual except those listed "Gathering" towards the end of the week.
The session will begin with a short presentation about SB 907 (Pan/Caballeo/Calderon/McCarty), which would provide the resources needed to offer high-quality CalFresh/EBT access at every certified and tribal-run farmers’ market in California. Following this overview of the bill, its status, and opportunities to advocate for its funding, the session will move into a forum discussion seeking ideas and input regarding the best practices to be promoted through technical assistance for equitable customer access and produce inclusion.
