Welcome to the 35th annual California Small Farm Conference, a week of learning, inspiration and movement-building. Our hybrid conference features over 50 online workshops, videos, and interactive forums, as well as in-person gatherings around the state. Admission is on a sliding scale. Please pay what you can to help make this event possible and accessible to everyone. All events are virtual except those listed "Gathering" towards the end of the week.

I'm a permaculture designer currently working as the Farm Manager at Food Literacy Centers new 1-acre urban farm. Our farm is next door to Leataata Elementary School. Our project is brand new and we will be using permaculture approaches to grow a healthy garden and community. Ideally low-till, sheet mulching, slow and small solutions.  I have my own Permaculture consulting business called Mulch the Planet. I have been farming for 14 years and have experience in a bit of everything from large scale CSA production in the Midwest, to eco-tourism in Big Sur and the Central Coast, to dairy farming and more.
