I call myself a perpetual beginning small farmer (produce, flowers). I did the sustainable ag program at SRJC (class of 2012) and read a lot. Before the pandemic, I used to listen to a lot of podcast We have land and great soil, but lack infrastructure. And it's zoned Rural Residential, not the best for a farm business. I think I would need a partner but am like nowhere near being able to figure out what to even grow/sell, never mind dealing with all the interpersonal and planning stuff at this point in my life.

I love pastured poultry and practice no-till in our garden and on the rest of our property. Am still hoping that I will put perennials for the pollinators...
