About me
Hanna specializes in agricultural research and organizing information sharing with farmers. She is passionate about hosting events where farmers can share their knowledge and experience and doing applied research to serve the need of local farmers. Feel free to ask Hanna questions about ecological farming practices, particularly integrated pest management. She has received a masters in Entomology at University of Maryland and is finishing a Ph.D. at UC Davis. Her research has included mating disruption for codling moth and navel orangeworm, spider mite management, herbivory by earwigs in citrus, using living mulches to enhance beneficial insects, and the role of wolf spiders as cucumber beetle predators.
