Benjamin worked on farms in Pennsylvania and Vermont and as a Soil Health intern at Rodale Institute while achieving his B.S. in Biology before moving to California to study Agricultural Ecology through a master’s program at U.C. Davis. After co-founding a small fruit and vegetable CSA, Benjamin became an organic inspector and eventually started his own consulting company, helping growers become certified organic, and Regenerative Organic Certified©. Benjamin now uses his over 20 years of experience across crop, livestock and dairy systems to help growers integrate climate smart agriculture practices on their farms as an implementation specialist for the North Valley Food Hub and grower outreach coordinator for CSU Chico Center for Regenerative Agriculture and Resilient Systems.
