About me
I have over 30 years in procurement, the last 10 sourcing produce and food. Previously I procured apparel for such companies as Levi Strauss, Target Corp and Dockers. I also have experience sourcing home goods, ice cream and pet apparel with smaller companies. Prior to coming to the CA Association of Food Banks, I was the Associate Director of Supply Chain for the Alameda County Community Food Bank located in Oakland where I witnessed first hand the impacts of food and nutrition in alleviating hunger. I continue to be committed to this cause and am ready to take the local food systems to the next level in preserving geographic relationships.
