Taawe Bwia
Land Steward
Mariposa County
My operation is focused on ecosystem services. While there is a cow-calf operation on the ranch, my work centers habitat restoration and land health. A particular focus is on native pollinator habitat, including work on monarch butterflies and native bees. I love to learn and am always open to talking about pollinators on ag lands. Love collaborating on cool projects too. Check out my blog to learn more: pollinative.blog
Taawe Bwia means Hawk Place (or, land of the hawk) in my Yoeme Indigenous language. It is a beautiful location on the western slope of the Central Sierras in the lands of the Southern Sierra Miwuk and Yokut people.
